Do operatives need to download an app?

No. SiteSign runs in the phone’s web browser, so it works on any smartphone or tablet. They just tap the link in their email.

What about people without an email address?

Add them without one. They sign in person on a supervisor’s phone or tablet, and SiteSign records who witnessed it.

Is an electronic signature valid?

Electronic signatures are admissible in evidence in the UK. SiteSign records who signed, when and on what device, and seals the finished document so changes are detectable. Check any specific requirements your client or contract has.
