Help & support
How to use SiteSign — and how to reach us if you’re stuck.
- Open the invite email from SiteSign (sent from noreply@mail.site-sign.co.uk) and tap “Set up my account”. Check your junk folder if it isn’t in your inbox.
- Tap “Set up my account” again on the page that opens, then choose a password (at least 10 characters, letters and numbers).
- That’s it — any documents waiting for you appear straight away. Next time go to www.site-sign.co.uk and log in with your email and password.
- Tip: add SiteSign to your phone’s home screen (Share → Add to Home Screen on iPhone, or the ⋮ menu → Add to Home screen on Android) so it opens like an app.
- No invite? Ask your site manager to add you using the email address you’ll log in with, or register yourself with that same email.
- Emails come from noreply@mail.site-sign.co.uk. If one lands in junk, mark it “Not junk” or add that address to your contacts so the next ones reach your inbox.
- When documents are sent to you, you get one email about 30 minutes later listing everything sent in that time — not one email per document.
- If you signed in person on your manager’s device, you won’t get an email for that document.
- Reminders: at most 2 a week, and none if you’ve opened SiteSign in the last day.
- You can always see everything waiting for you by logging in — the emails are just a nudge.
- Open SiteSign and tap the document under “To sign”.
- Read the whole document — scroll to the end.
- Tap each highlighted box to fill it in. For a signature, draw with your finger, then tap Done. One signature fills all your signature boxes.
- On registers (like a toolbox talk sheet), fill in “Your row on the register” — your details go on the next free line.
- Tick “I have read and understood…”, then tap Sign document and confirm.
Signatures can’t be changed once submitted — that protects everyone’s records. Ask your site manager: they can reset your signature (with a reason, which is logged) so you can sign again.
- Scroll right to the end of the document, then tick “I have read and understood…”.
- Check the list above the button — every box marked as needed must be filled in.
- If text is “too long to fit”, shorten it so it fits the box on the form.
- “Every row has been used” means the form is full — ask your site manager to add rows.
- Every signed PDF you download, export or archive is built by SiteSign’s server and digitally sealed. In Adobe Acrobat Reader, open the Signatures panel to see the seal; Adobe warns if the file is changed afterwards.
- Anyone you send it to — an inspector, main contractor or solicitor — can check it at www.site-sign.co.uk/verify. If it says “Genuine and unchanged”, it’s exactly the file SiteSign issued. The file never leaves their device.
- A copy that has been edited, re-saved, printed to PDF or scanned won’t match — download a fresh copy from SiteSign instead.
- The last page of every copy is a signing certificate with a SiteSign reference number and who signed, when, how and from which device.
- Use Forgotten your password? on the login page. The reset email can take a few minutes — check junk.
- “Email not confirmed” means you need to open the link in your first email (or your invite).
- Logging in, registering and password resets include a quick security check from Cloudflare. Usually you won’t notice it; occasionally you’ll be asked to tick a box. If you see “The security check didn’t go through”, refresh the page and try again.
- Make sure you’re on www.site-sign.co.uk — older links to sitesign-app-eora.netlify.app forward there automatically.
